The goal of the STM library is to provide a wide range of books and multimedia resources to support teaching and learning. By fostering a love of reading we promote independent, motivated readers and learners for a lifetime. In the primary grades, instruction encompasses literature appreciation, library skills, introduction to fiction and nonfiction materials as well as reference materials, and beginning
research skills. In the upper grades, instruction includes information literacy including research skills, source evaluation, and literature appreciation.
